Apparently Beat Culture gave this beat to Atlantic Records and he hasn’t heard back from them. [via] They must’ve misplaced his number. You’re telling me Plies—PLIES—is above this banger? What about your favorite pothead Wiz Khalifa? He can’t get down to this beat and absolutely nail it? Well, I think this clicky, bass knocking, middle-of-an-album, pace driving beat would’ve been perfect for any emcee on Atlantic’s roster—with the exception of Flo Rida who’s looking for something a little more hip and dubstepy (or whatever the kids are into these days).

Calling all extraterrestrials! Strangr speaks for you. “Back to Rewards” has its rivets churning, tonal whines and ready-for-lift-off wobbles. You’ll be leaving behind those delicious Reese’s Pieces (or Ree-sees pee-sees) and in its place you’ll be gaining a new altitude of hip-hop instrumentation. The Palm Springs producer channels his inner SETI to bring you a track that still believes Pluto is a planet. [Photo]

Ohio’s Dose or (Dose)—but don’t skim what’s in the parenthesis—recently released Moments EP. It’s a slew of Soundcloud releases and airy beats. But, wait! There’s more! For the low, low price of zilch, nada, nothing you can own another dope, fresh, ambient beat—“Future Vision”. It’ll sound good in your living room, your car, but what about headphones? Absolutely! And it’s yours at no cost to you. At no cost to you! Seriously, you’ve gotta have it! Don’t be left in the past, get “Future Vision”!

Turn the coffee machine on, brew up some tea and pick your favorite resting spot. Put the cell phone away! You can update your Facebook status later. After listening to this you’ll actually have something meaningful to say, like, “Hey, this dil Withers song is pretty sweet, remember high school and how cool I was?” “HiFi” has some dusty drums and a guitar loop straight from the icebox. It’s chilly, it’s clear, it’s Seattle’s Best.

Ostinato comes from Sydney, Australia. He comes from a land down under where crocodiles run free and the grill (barbie) is always cooking up shimp kabobs. Okay, enough stereotyping for me, because “Too Far Gone” isn’t built off preconceptions (or Drake songs), but experimental hip-hop foundations that’ll awaken your robotic side. Be it, awkwardly dancing in public, rigidly trying to stay on tempo or obeying the speed limit while cops perch in nearby gas stations. You’ve got to give this track a spin, because it’s fucking awesome. Aight, g’day mates.

Jean P – ”Sherrie’s Song”

“Sherrie’s Song” is a emotional and heartwarming song by Jéan P. Sherrie Monroe was the mother of the Lyricist but unfortunately passed away to cancer back in 2006. Described already as the “Dear Mama” of 2011, BOOM! comes through with hard hitting strings on the beat embedded through a sample that echoes “You and I”. Rest In Peace to Jéan P’s Mother, Sherrie..She would have been 38 today (9/17/11). “Opposites Attract” coming in November.
